On-Call Support

When our regular staff reach their capacity limits, we rely on our network of trained temporary assistants. We are looking for friendly, motivated individuals—ideally students from tourism schools, university students, or anyone enthusiastic about excellent service—who want to help on a part-time basis. Especially during the peak summer season, there are many exciting opportunities. The shifts are announced in advance, and you can simply sign up flexibly for the shifts that suit you.

Frequently Asked Questions

How does the application process work?
As soon as we receive your application, you will get a response within a few days. If your profile matches the position and our team, we will invite you for a personal interview on-site. This gives you the opportunity to get to know us – and for us to get to know you. If both sides are convinced, we will discuss the details and set your start date together.

Can I submit a speculative application if there’s no suitable position currently advertised?
Yes, absolutely! We are always open to motivated individuals. Just let us know which area you see yourself in – a suitable opportunity might arise.

Do you offer staff accommodation?
Yes, at our Feuersbrunn location we provide staff accommodation based on availability, or actively support you in finding housing.

How is the staff accommodation equipped?
Our staff rooms are located in our team hotel. Each room includes a bed, wardrobe, desk, shower, and washbasin. The toilet is shared in the corridor. There is also a laundry room available.

What working hours can I expect?
At Mörwald, you can expect a varied workday – our venues are open year-round (except December 24 & 25), and we are there when our guests need us: including evenings, weekends, and holidays. What’s important to us: structured and fair schedules, timely planning, and as much predictability as possible. We ensure your working hours can be balanced with your personal life through clear communication, flexible models, and an open ear for individual needs.

Are there training opportunities?
Yes! We offer internal training sessions, workshops, wine & product training, and support for external professional development.

Are there opportunities for career advancement within the company?
Yes – and many! Many of our team members started as apprentices or part-time staff and are now in leadership positions. Anyone who demonstrates performance and fits into the team can achieve a lot at Mörwald.

Do you accept career changers?
Absolutely! If you have a passion for hospitality and a willingness to learn, we give you the opportunity. Fresh perspectives are always welcome, whether from within the industry or not.

Which qualities are particularly important in applicants?
Besides professional interest, we value reliability, teamwork, politeness, and joy in interacting with people. Everything else can be learned – but attitude makes the difference.

Is there food provided during working hours?
Of course – because “meal time is life time.” All staff are provided with free meals during their shifts.

Daniel Ebner, General Manager, has been with the company for 25 years. He also started with an apprenticeship – and to this day, he considers it the right choice:
"Through the variety and the diverse tasks in the different MÖRWALD outlets, you see and learn a lot. And: MÖRWALD is a family-run business."
